About sOPHIE idan

     Sophie Idan has been an integral part of Sherwood's most exclusive homes, holding the title of Head Interior Designer since 1999.  A member and former VP of the Interior Design Society, Sophie's passion and experience have put her in the forefront of interior design field. Sophie caters to her clients and projects with wide ranging designs, while meeting the exact requirements of each client through superb communication throughout each project. Tying together each stage with architects, contractors, and specialists alike, Sophie is the innate foundation on which every project is carried out. By bringing her innovative designs to a diverse array of clients, Sophie has transformed style and product lines at a multitude of places. Sophie designed and staged several homes one of which was showcased in the Wellness Christmas Tour in Westlake Village.

Sophie has a wide range of private clients throughout the world. Utilizing her influences from abroad and elsewhere, Sophie has the ability to transform any property into a beautiful home. From downtown lofts to countryside estates, Sophie has a deep understanding with a multitude of styles, themes, and design touches to evolve any space at any budget. She has received numerous Design related awards such as a Design Excellence Award from the National Kitchen & Bath Association, as well as a National Award from Eldorado Stone for her Award Winning Veneer Stone Design

Sophie holds a BA in Criminology, and earned a Certificate in Interior Design. She is a Professional Interior Design Society member, and has been a faculty member and taught Interior Design at LTU University.

Outside of work, Sophie's pastimes include playing piano, listening to classical music, painting, cooking, reading and traveling abroad.
